WILL
HYPNOSIS HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT? YES!
The
key word is “help.” Hypnosis will not
make you lose weight because it is not magic.
But hypnosis is very effective in helping you do some things vital to
weight loss: learn new thoughts
and habits, remember them at the exact time you need them, keep your motivation
up, and draw on some of your unused inner resources.
We
don’t have to do anything in this world if we are willing to accept the
consequences. But IF you want to lose
weight, there are certain things you MUST do, and which are under your
control:
1. Make a firm decision to lose weight. This is the most important action, because
you are focusing on an outcome, not on a method. Different methods work for different
people, but you are looking for results.
2.
Make a reasonable eating and
exercise plan. Weight loss requires you
to change eating and exercise habits and the thoughts/feelings that accompany
them. Hypnosis might help here.
3.
Get rid of habitual self-defeating
thoughts. This requires planning
and practice.
4. Stick
to it until it becomes a habit. Thin people most likely learned these
habits early in life. Maybe you just
didn’t learn them yet. Now is a good
time.
